Background:
Melt&Marble’s mission is to enable the transition towards a more sustainable agri-food system and beyond. Using precision fermentation, we design and produce the next generation of sustainable fats — tailored for functionality, performance, and health. As we prepare to launch our first product in the personal care sector and scale up production, we are seeking a QC & Compliance Specialist to ensure our processes and products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance.
This role is critical to supporting our transition from lab-scale innovation to commercial manufacturing, ensuring product stability, regulatory readiness, and robust quality systems.

Ideal candidates will have experience in quality assurance/control within the food and/or personal care sectors, with additional expertise in regulatory compliance and bioprocessing or fats & oils considered a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Control & Product Stability
Define quality parameters, product specifications, and implement QC protocols across lab, pilot, and commercial-scale production, including HACCP planning.
Conduct hands-on internal QC testing and coordinate external testing, ensuring alignment with production timelines and consistent batch performance.
Monitor and analyze product stability data to provide insights for R&D and production teams.
Collaborate with the scale-up team to define and implement QC checkpoints in pilot and commercial-scale manufacturing, and provide insights using QC data.
Regulatory Affairs & Compliance
Support regulatory filings and testing coordination within food and personal care frameworks.
Maintain documentation and traceability for audits and certifications.
Contribute to the development of a regulatory roadmap aligned with company goals.
Quality Management Systems
Build and maintain QMS suitable for scale-up and commercial manufacturing, ensuring GMP-like compliance.
